PEOPLE
We combine field experiments, molecular biology and data science to study wild-plant domestication and specialized metabolism.

Plant scientist working across domestication, specialized metabolism and plant bioengineering.

Studies field performance, phenotypic diversity and the domestication of Chenopodium album. Combines field trials and phenotyping to identify useful traits for crop development.
Develops data-enabled approaches for wild-plant breeding through the PLANTAI project. Uses genomics and phylogenetics to study diversity and evolutionary relationships in the Chenopodium album aggregate.
Establishes plant transformation protocols for plant bioengineering research and supports projects across the group.
